Victoria performed as part of a flute and harp duo at this year’s Meadfest at The Mead School — read about it here!
Meadfesters relaxed on colourful deckchairs and picnic blankets with their friends and families, soaking up the festival vibe and enjoying the funky tunes of headlining band Groove 101 as well as a beautiful harp and flute duo from Victoria Longhurst and Nicky Catterwell and brilliant performances from our school choir and newly formed school orchestra.
Victoria attended and played the harp at the Tonbridge School wedding fair on the 5th of May.

Victoria will be performing at the Bridal fashion show at the Hotel Du Vin, Tunbridge Wells on Sat 6th April 2019.
Events start with champagne and cream tea at 2:30pm; the fashion show begins at 3:30pm. Try on your dream dress at 4pm; buy with a 10% discount on the day!

Victoria played a private party for Baldwin’s Travel Agency on the 23rd July.
Victoria played the harp to raise awareness and money for GAIN, a charity which supports those affected by GBS and associated inflammatory neuropathies.
Her father has in the last two weeks been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré but thankfully, due to excellent treatment at KCH and expert physiotherapy, is already starting to make good progress.
Victoria is donating her fee to the Charity which has been a great support to her and her family.

I just want to say a huge thank you for yesterday. You looked fab and sounded amazing. It was fantastic how you helped to gel the ceremony together, our families were so impressed with the whole wedding, but their first reaction was you and the orangery which just set the day.

Dear Victoria,
I have been meaning to write to you for some time now to say thank you so much for playing so beautifully on our wedding day, it was so lovely having the chance to listen to you during the signing of the register and at drinks and dinner, it was the most special day and we have had so many compliments from our friends and family on how wonderful you were. It was so seamless and I can’t thank you enough for that. One of my friends said she wanted to arrange a garden party just so she could invite you to play.
I’m sorry I didn’t have a chance to speak to you – the day went faster than I could ever have imagined it would.
I’m so pleased with all of the music we selected in particular the Handel Passacaglia during the register signing, this was the first moment of calm for me and I will never forget actually taking a second to listen to you play during that wonderful moment.
